Viola Beuscher and GLOW GLOW have joined forces in a quietly shared passion: soil. It’s the same ground that gives Viola the wild clay for her ceramics and nourishes the Baumberger family’s vines.
For this collection, we gently gathered clay from a former vineyard and shaped it into tasting cups and carafes. In this way, you can discover the wine’s character—shaped by its terroir—right where it began.
Made in Frankfurt
Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
